lilalila Posted November 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2017 For my upcoming Victory cruise I have the following: 1) $25.00 OBC from my travel agent. 2) $50.00 OBC from Carnival. 3) $50.00 "Cruise Cash" card. Can any of these amounts be used for play in the casino? On the other hand, can any of these amounts simply be exchanged for cash in the casino? If so, how? klfrodo Posted November 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2017 You've got a total of $125 of On Board credit. This OBC cannot be designated on how it's used. It's just a credit on your account. Since Gratuities will be one of the first things to hit your account, this $125 credit will be gone in an instant. Or, if you buy an excursion and a drink or a coffee or 2, it will be gone fast. However, if at the end of the cruise, you have anything left, you can get it back. (except for the Cruise Cash. Cruise Cash is non-refundable.) gigem_aggies Posted November 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2017 In my experience with OBC, I went to the casino, loaded my OBC amount into a machine, played a few rounds, then cashed out to my players bank and took my card to the cashier. No problem getting my OBC back in cash.
cb at sea Posted November 5, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2017 $125 will be gone in no time! No worries! ANYTHING you sign for will be charged against that credit.

No problem getting my OBC back in cash. This is what we did as well, and got cash back. Worked out well for us.
lilalila Posted November 5, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted November 5, 2017 I should have explained myself a little more; the cruise is only 3 nights so gratuities are $77.70 and I don't plan on buying any beverages or doing any excursions. I either want to gamble just a little or take the cash if I can.
