Is there someway too save ten percent when using your Carnival MasterCard when purchasing Carnival Gift Cards?

If you buy your GCs through AARP, you can save 10%. And you don't have to be AARP age!

Nope. I pay for my cruises by purchasing gift cards (all-state or aarp). I use my carnival card and I don't get the double points but I think saving 10% makes up for that.

I just signed up for AARP to buy the discounted GC. Do you know if they put a limit as to how many you can purchase? I am currently at 15,000 points so could I buy $1,500 worth of cards?

There is a daily limit of two or three cards. It seems to vary depending on who you talk to. But you can go on the next day if you need more.

I have also gotten them for points on my discover card and used only about $50 worth of points (based on other rewards you can get) on a $100 card.

We purchase Carnival Gift Cards at Kroger when they are offering 4X fuel perks and pay with our AMEX Blue Cash Preferred card that gives 6% cash back at grocery stores.
