barriead Posted December 3, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted December 3, 2017 Thanks John, thats in line with what I thought and hoped for.:) Having looked at long range forecast it looks like it might be a bit stormy while were away...just hope Zeebrugge and Amsterdam are going to be okay for getting in, I hear they can be a bit iffy if weather is rough. Where did you see that forecast please? I would like to take a look. We have missed Bruges before but never Amsterdam. Would be a real shame but it happens. It defiantly looks very cold for the trip. Met office for Oslo the daytime high is minus 4 with a high of minus 8 for evening!
barriead Posted December 4, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted December 4, 2017 (edited) Hi Egelsbrech, I look at the following: https://www.ventusky.com/?p=47.2;8.3;3&l=temperature It was mentioned on this good board somewhere a while back.:) The wind speeds are looking to be strong according to the forecast...you can see up to 10 days ahead....lets hope it turns out to be incorrect and all is good.:) Edited December 4, 2017 by barriead
annieuk Posted December 4, 2017 #6 Share Posted December 4, 2017 As I said on another thread we did this cruise last year and the whole cruise was as smooth as could be - even the North Sea was as calm as a millpond.

Hi Annieuk, fingers crossed its the same again.:) I am really looking forward to the Cruise, dont mind it being a bit bumpy, just hope we can get into the Ports...having missed some in the past (like most of us I'm sure) it would be nice to get into them all...but I am prepared for whatever happens.:)
