e3g Posted December 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 20, 2017 We will be sailing on the Jan 28, 2018 departure of the Eurodam from Ft. Lauderdale. Express Docs show a 1:00 embarkation with sailaway of 4:00. We will be traveling with DS who has mobility isssues, therefore we wish to avoid standing in line. What time would you suggest we arrive? FWIW, we are not concerned about missing an hour or two on the ship. There will be plenty of food and the bars will be open when we do board. Also, there are many posting about difficulty in finding a table in the Lido. Considering this, what time would you suggest as the best for the Lido? catl331 Posted December 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 20, 2017 In my experience the initial boarding crush is over by about 12:30, and unless a bus from the airport arrives you can walk right through. We've never had a big problem finding a LIdo table except during peak times - 11:45 > 13:30. Even then tables can often be found out by either of the pools. There are usually seats available in the lido at all times. Most people are happy to share. We have had some really nice lunch time chats. iflyrc5 Posted December 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 20, 2017 Don't forget - the main dining room will probably be open for lunch from around noon to 1pm. Once in a while it is not open but normally is open.
jenp123 Posted December 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 20, 2017 I would do 130pm or later if you want to avoid all lines. most times (unless there is a delay in boarding) i have walked right through onto the ship at that time
