Feedback on Recent Visits to San Juan & Safety of Excursions

We are on RCI Freedom sailing Jan 6th 2018 and would love feedback from someone recently visiting San Juan. Is it safe for excursions and/or self guided walking tours? My adult kids and their spouses were excited about taking an ATV excursion through cruise-line. I've been trying to get some feedback which excursion was better between Carabali ATV or Campo Rico ATV. Now I'm wondering if we should cancel the ATV excursion and either take walking tour of the forts or stay on the ship.

 

I would appreciate some feedback from someone that has recently visited San Juan.

Also try to look at thread that have been posted on the San Juan board from those who have visited there.

 

I have read positive things on various cruise line boards and with each passing week things are improving.
