Jade Haven ???

For me, the cost of a Haven on Jewel class ships is not worth it without Haven Bar and restaurant.

If you need/want a butler you can get it by booking a suite that is less costly than Haven, just my opinion.

They do not have a fixed base like they do on the megaships.  Most of them tend to use the area around the entrance to the breakfast venue in the morning so they see the majority of the suite guests there.  The majority of them also spend evenings moving around the specialist restaurants.  We find that the relationship between us and the concierge is more personal on the smaller ships. That might be because they have not got a desk to live behind and they have to work a bit harder to go and meet guests rather than always having guests standing opposite that desk on the megaships.  It is also easier for the concierge to  be seen when they are around the ship on the smaller ships.

Dumb question about CY butler - I know we are "expected" to tip our butler and concierge.  Is CY butler included in the higher DSC for Haven?  

 

We're sailing Jade April 2019 and can't wait, although we both are totally spoiled by Epic and Bliss Havens, especially that convenient bar and concierge.  Anyone know what hours the bar outside Cagney's/Moderno (looking at deck plan) is open?  We're so used to stopping by the CY bar on our way out and back in, wondering if this one will be a decent replacement.

The Mojito bar typically opens around noon-1 pm but I'd have to check Dailies for exact time.  If they aren't open, just go down one more deck to Topsiders by the pool as they open up much earlier.
