This ferry transports people and vehicles between Mazatlan, Pichlingue (Near La Paz on the Baja Penisula - North of Cabo San Lucas), and Topolobampo (near Ahome - on the eastern side of the Sea of Cortez).

Another beautiful Sunset.

We got ready for the Latitudes Silver and above party. We got down a little early, so we went into 5 o'Clock somewhere and listened to Tea for Two.

These ladies were awesome musicians

The Latitudes party opened up and we found seats up front. I went off and talked to some people and officers, but ordered a rum punch, Susan had got the only one the server had, so the server went an got me one.

While I was talking, a server who remembered me from the VIP party, hands me a rum punch. I come back to the table and Susan is looking at me like why do you have a Rum punch in your hand, you already have one. I figure more the merrier!

Cabo San Lucas day began with noises in my dreams, which I soon realized were actual noises outside. I headed out to the balcony and saw them loading stuff onto the tender boats to take to shore.

The Sun was just starting to rise.

We headed up to breakfast as we had a bit of time before our shore excursion meeting time of 8:15 in the Stardust Theater.

IMG_0052-L.jpg

Here is the VIP/Suite breakfast menu again.

IMG_0053-L.jpg

Here are my breakfast appetizers. I got Oatmeal and they had no brown sugar. What a crime. I tried raw sugar in it and it just didn't taste right, I quickly grew disenfranchised with it and moved on to tastier things.

IMG_0054-L.jpg

I got an omelette this morning.

IMG_0055-L.jpg

along with my Crab Cake Benedict. I really am going to miss these.

We headed down to the Theater at 8:00 am. We figured we would sit and wait. We got there and they were calling our shore excursion time. Ok. So they funneled us down a crew hallway.

IMG_0063-L.jpg.

then out to the tender platform.

IMG_0064-L.jpg

IMG_0065-L.jpg

We boarded one of the private tenders that Cabo San Lucas has.

Tendering allows for some unique picture angles.

Our Port picture. This was our best one.

We got out of the ship so fast, we were in port by 8:10. The meetup time on the pier wasn't till 8:30. We walked down to the free restroom so Susan could use the restroom. Everyone wanted to sell us a tour. We politely said no thanks.

We got back and sat on the bench at the meetup point.

the Sea Urchins were cool.

looking out at the Star.

They took our shore excursion tickets for the Luxury Day Sail. We got our safety briefing, and headed to the boat. The guide said we might see some whales. That would be cool! I only have waited all trip to see one.

IMG_0090-L.jpg

Our boat was similar to this one.

IMG_0091-L.jpg

This couple was from Tacoma, WA. They were on the shrimp fest excursion and our luxury day sail. We had fun chatting with them.

IMG_0125-L.jpg

I saw a whale!

IMG_0126-L.jpg

It was too far away.

We had a serious lack of wind, so they asked us if we wanted to try to find some whales. We all said Yes!

We head out to a group of boats and a few minutes later are rewarded with several whales.
