Just love your reviews. Your style of writing and your pictures are fantastic. I had to go back and reread your Sun review. Although not going to Alaska we are going on the Sun in March. By far our favorite ship. The both of you look so happy. Every picture perfect. Your smiles in every photo are I will say contagious. You both seem like you would be a lot of fun on the ship. Anyway, enjoying your review and just want to say Thank you for taking the time to do it.

Awe thank you!

I did enjoy the Sun. Our Jewel cruise in June was supposed to be on the Sun. Oh well.

The little stocking stuffers is such great idea! It looks like the staff really appreciated that. [emoji106]

I can’t wait to see the pics from Mexico.

They all really liked them! When we gave them to them they would all get really excited, because it was something different.

Loving your review! The pictures are beautiful, and they bring back memories of our cruise on the Star in October. It is a lot of fun seeing crew members I recognize.

Thank you! Glad I can take you back!

So we got back from Dinner at La Cucina, and we noticed our string of Christmas lights were missing.

In our room was a letter.

I looked at the prohibited items before sailing, and Christmas lights are not on the list. I assumed it would be all right. Lets just say Susan wasn't to happy. Unfortunately, there wasn't much we could do about it.

We'll know for next time?

Also laying on the bed was a time change notification. Yipee! We get to change our clocks again. What time zone are we in?

After wandering a bit, I went in search of where the NFL games were going to played.

5 o'clock somewhere

I was told the games were going to most likely be shown here. I notice Jefferson cleaning up after a Canvus by U Class. i talked to him for a few minutes.

While I was in 5 O'clock Somewhere, a group we met at the lifeboat Drill strolled in looking for the NFL games as well. I told them here and O'sheehans were supposed to show the games.

We decided to go up to O'Sheehans.

Before the games got started, Dolphins were spotted off the port side of the ship.

I took a group shot of the table. These guys were cheering for the Saints, as was I today. The Saints needed to win in order for my Seahawks to have any chance. I joined them for the Saints game.

We got all the kinds of wings and nachos for the table. yes, I got a salad.

Susan meanwhile was at the Ladies pamper party at the Spa.

Susan finally joined us and ordered a loaded hot dog.

Of course, she had to have some dessert.

The saints won. Now it was time for my Seahawks and the Cowgirls. I mean Cowboys. It just slipped out, sorry.

In between games, I got some shots of the Mexican Coast.

The Seahawks game started and I got some Fish and Chips to eat during the game.

The TV screen kept getting blocked in O'Sheehans and we decided we would finish the final 3 quarters in our stateroom.

We found these fine football finger foods waiting for us. How did they know the Seahawks were on?

The Seahawks won and beat the Cowboys. Yeah! that made my Day!

After the game we took a nap, and rested for a fun filled evening. Plus the time changes were getting to us.

Pictures were available in the Atrium starting at 6pm.

So we went down at 6 and showed our Seahawk Pride.

Psyched after our win today!

Once we got done with pictures in our Seahawks gear, we headed back to the stateroom to dress for dinner.

We returned to the stateroom.

This guy was hanging out on our couch when we returned. We enjoyed the balcony some, then turned in for the night.

Tomorrow was Christmas Day, and Santa would soon be here.

We just went on a cruise on The Breakaway in Oct. & its funny how the specialty dining menus in La Cucina & Cagneys were slightly different. Strange. I have to say the menus on your cruise look better :)

Really enjoying your review & photos!

we were going to be in Port from 9 am to 6 pm (Central) today. My body being used to waking up early for work, woke me up before 7 Central (5 Pacific). I quietly moved out, making sure not to wake up Susan, onto the Balcony and watched the Sun come up.

Thank you for your review! It is helping me know what to expect next year when we'll be on the same cruise. A question -

I've heard there is a special menu in the main dining rooms for Christmas Eve. Did you notice anything? I have also read conflicting information on the specialty restaurants - there were no special Christmas Eve menus in the specialty restaurants, (which seems to be true from the Cagney's menu), and, I also read that the French restaurant served a special traditional French Christmas Eve dinner. Any info on special Christmas Eve or Christmas Day dining would be appreciated so I can premake reservations.

THANK YOU AGAIN - great pictures :)

As I headed up to deck 13 for breakfast, I caught a glimpse of Old Saint Nick getting ready to hand out presents to the Kiddos.

Can you guess what I got?

That's right, Crab Cake Benedict!

IMG_9777-L.jpg

Susan got it too!

A look down at Santa and the kids from deck 13 after breakfast.
