Hi everyone! We are getting ready for a fun, fast 4 day vacation on the sky as a get away from this FREEZING winter in WV! Do we need to have a credit card while on the ship? Do we need a credit card to link to our room key? Even if everything is included and we prepaid service charges? TIA!!!!

You don't have to have a credit card you can plonk down $400 cash p/p and pay off your 'expenses' with that. You will get credit back for any unused cash.

A credit card is the easiest way to handle any other charges you might have. Very easy.

Thank you. Sounds like we can do 150$ each in cash once we get on board. It doesn’t sound like they hook this up at check in before getting on boat.

 

Recently cut up credit cards because we are following Dave Ramsey’s total money makeover. Game changer!

You cannot pay for anything on the ship with a credit card or cash - ONLY you ship card is accepted which charges to your onboard account. You can set that account up by linking it to a credit card or with a cash deposit. If everything is prepaid, personally I’d use a credit card since your onboard charges will likely be minimal.
