70s Party Liberty of the seas

We are doing the Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Jamaica route and have seen mention of a 70s party.

 

1.What is it?

2.Where does it take place?

3. When is it? Day?

4. Do people dress up in 70s garb for it?

5.And are there other themed party nights I should know about?

It's held one evening in the Royal Promenade. It's like a street party. The Cruise Director Staff will be dressed as the Village People and they'll be dancing on one of the bridges above the RP. I rarely, if ever, see passengers dress for it.

 

I don't know what night it'll be on your cruise, but it's a lot of fun. Enjoy. :)

I have seen it on various days. The NV back in 2016 it was on Embarkation night, and we were already so tired, and only caught it as we were going to bed. Luckily they changed that as this last week on NV it was on night 4.
