Trekker954 Posted January 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2018 We arrived late into Curacao, so my options were limited for a private excursion. Bounty Adventure arranged a pick up at 3:30 outside the cruise terminal. It turned out quite a few passengers had booked this independent tour. We stopped at a few other hotels along the way to pick up hotel guests. A huge catamaran pulled up to take us on our cruise. There were some guests already on board they had picked up from the Santa Barbara resort. It was a nice excursion. The staff were very attentive. The only down side for the enviornment is they give you your drinks in a light plastic cup (that is okay) with two stirrer straws (yes a turtles mortal enemy). While the staff were quick to pick up empty glass and it wasn't a windy day, I think all turtles were safe, but there must be a better way. The only big no no, is one of the guests from the resort was a chain smoker while on the boat and this seemed to be permitted on board as the staff said nothing at all. After the cruise, and sunset, we were returned to the cruise terminal after dropping the hotel guests.
marci22 Posted January 21, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2018 Terrible about the straws, and the ability to smoke takes this excursion off my list. Did they give them an ashtray?

A few pax were smoking but our biggest complaint was that most of the crew were chain smokers also. It was horrible!
