The last time we booked a guarantee we got the cabin assignment 3 days before sailing.

We sailed guaranteed 3 or 4 times, the earliest we received our assignment was about a month, the latest was a week prior to the sailing. In all cases we never had a bad room.

That’s good to know! This was the first time we’ve done the guarantee and I was happy with the outcome. Too it was kind of fun having that little bit of surprise, especially since I plan out pretty much everything else well in advance.
