I'm dancing, too....as I happily shovel the (almost) 2 feet of snow that I got last night. I leave with my 10-year-old this Friday for our DREAM cruise on Sunday. YAY!!

We're having some good sugaring weather right now so the snow is melting but it's supposed to be really warm on Wednesday. Definitely no shoveling on a cruise ship!

Is that for sugar maple trees? We have a nature preserve near us that gives maple syrup tours and this does seem like the peak temperatures with the cool nights/warm days.

Yes, we have a lot of maple syrup making going on around here. I've heard that it's supposed to be a good year for them, but only time will tell the true story.
