Does Fox rental have a shuttle to Everglades Port?

Booked a rental from Fox from the Airport at Fort Lauderdale, to find out its off site. Have been trying to find out if they have a shuttle to Port Everglades to take our cruise. They are next to impossible to actually talk to.

We rented a car from Fox after our Christmas cruise because it was the only company quoting a reasonable one-way rental price. Because it's not one of the big companies, I was concerned but the car was fine. No shuttle to the port, but if you take a taxi or Uber to/from the Fox Rental lot, it's much closer than going all the way to FLL. The line at the rental office was long but the agents were excellent.

Ace Rent a Car on South Andrews Avenue provides shuttle service both to the airport and to Port Everglades. It is a small operation but I have used them twice and would do so again if I cruise out of Port Everglades.

Do Alamo have car drop off point at Port Everglades?

Alamo office is across 17th Street from the port entrance. But make sure you reserve to drop off there rather than the airport.

Contacted Alamo and asked to change drop off to port, but there is a charge.

Do you know if Avis have a car drop off at port Everglade, if so how easy is it and is there a shuttle needed. We have 3 children with us, just looking at best options we are not familiar as we are from the UK. Thank you

The easiest way to drop off a car if there are two adults involved is to drop mum and the three children with all the luggage at the cruise terminal and then go and return the car. It is very easy for the driver with no luggage to get a spot on the shuttle, while there is sometimes a wait for a family of 5 + luggage (you might have to wait for the next shuttle.) Yes, Avis has a shuttle.

The porters will take the luggage and mum can get the kids in line to go thru security and ultimately check in.

We like to use Budget. We can pick up the car at Ft. Lauderdale airport FLL, and drop it off at the Budget office at 1515 SE 17th Street.

Be sure to drop off the passengers and luggage at the pier first, then return the car. Tip the shuttle driver a buck or two.

Fox has VERY POOR reviews on Yelp btw.
