Platimum boarding with guests

That's what we do...no harm it waiting! Funny though...last time the carnival workers kept trying to push us in early.

That's the proper solution - if it is truly important for everyone to board at once, the Platinum members should forego their early boarding perk.

 

Otherwise, I don't see why the non-Platinums would be upset about waiting their turn.

It's sad that there are so many platinums now that perks or benefits continue to decrease. Surely those that strain this further by sneaking or bringing their "guests" who are not platinum with them will not complain when some more of these things are taken away because there are just too many people.

I specifically did not mention diamond, the numbers are too few to matter on any given cruise even if the same percentage feel entitled enough to break the rules.

 

thats what i would have thought. I did freedom last dec 12? and it was the top casino cruise from what i was told.

 

we had like 200 diamonds and even more platinum, idk, but like 500 to 700 priority. Gave a new meaning to priority boarding.

 

When they called diamond and a huge number got up in the lounge, some lady kept yelling, i know ya'all arent diamond ... turns out they were.

 

now we got people who think its ok to sneak others in with them. yikes. you may think the others dont notice that the cards arent diamond or platinum, but even if they dont say anything they are swearing under their breath at seeing you cheating.

 

odd how many think if they can sneak them in its ok if they dont get caught and someone in authority says no.

 

parents are another thing, if they board with you or not, my parents are 91 and 99, and could board HC if they went, so i dont think this is so bad, as another poster above said his parents board with him. My sister is also HC and has to stay with me, she cant figure out cabin numbers (slow learner etc). So, there are times i can see it, when they would also be hc.

 

This is one thing I prefer on RCL, you line up according to your card color. no cheating allowed.
