Fort Lauderdale embarkation, car hire question

Cruising with Celebrity, first timer at Fort Lauderdale. If we have an Alamo hire car(4 passengers) and we have to drop it off at Eller/McIntosh is it easier to drop the other 3 at the ship with the bags and take the car back myself?

Thinking of an easier shuttle journey back to the ship on my own with no bags just wondered if it was feasible?

Come on over to the Florida Departures board, here:

where this topic is discussed almost daily.

Traffic could be hectic that day, if it is Saturday or Sunday, and the port is huge, so not dropping off people and bags is perhaps the better option.

The key thing to confirm is the presence of a shuttle. Most of the rental places around the port have shuttles, but Alamo has been questionable.
