aknursemom Posted April 13, 2018 #27 Share Posted April 13, 2018 We are in one of the older cabins , a minisuite starboard side aft, the cabin itself is a little tired but it does have the new mattress and 2 new flat sceen TV's which are mounted to the wall. As far as our cabin we picked it for the location, very little foot traffic passing by and it has a fully covered Sent from my SM-T820 using Forums mobile app Thank you for the cabin information. The TV placement is an improvement!

srkays Posted April 14, 2018 #29 Share Posted April 14, 2018 Great pictures. Thank you. We are thinking of doing the 9 Apr 2019 Panama Canal Ocean to Ocean starting in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and debarking in LA. What kind of state room do you have? We are planning on the a Club Class Mini Suite. We are used to sailing on MSC in Yacht Club with all inclusive drinks. We are not 'big' drinkers, but do drink a lot of water, coffee, soda, etc. I notice they have a 'soda' package which includes coffee. Would like to hear more about your experience with your stateroom and restaurant experiences. Thanks again for sharing.

Micheal Boonzaaier about what not to do while in the Galley, shortly after that we arrived in Huatulaco and took the Rural communities princess excursion, which included stops at the home of a family that makes palm products, followed by stops at local families homes that make tortillas and rugs. tawlaw1526 Posted April 14, 2018 #35 Share Posted April 14, 2018 I saw in your Patter that AJ Jamal did a comedy show for you. Did you attend? I saw him last year on another Princess ship and he was HYSTERICAL. Made my DH and I laugh to tears. I never saw Brand James Duo. If you saw him, was he good? What type of show did he do? Still loving your blog and thank you for taking the time. It’s making me anxious for my up coming cruise.

jss5200 Posted April 15, 2018 #43 Share Posted April 15, 2018 We are planning this same cruise for October of this year. Your posts have been so helpful. We are looking at booking a minisuite mid aft on Deck 9 ( (Dolphin deck). It's about 24 cabins forward from the rear of the ship. From the deck plans it looks like it would be a covered balcony. Would you recommend this area of the Island Princess? Thanks in advance for any tips!

I can't say for sure if this is a fully covered balcony, I can take a picture of the aft section of the ship if that would help , but yes we love the back of the ship .
