Venice Port Disembarkation - Car Rentals

Hi there,

 

Does anyone know if there are car rental agencies near or at the disembarkation point in Venice? We are renting a car at the end of our cruise for 1 day/night for a quick trip to Ravenna.

I think Europcar is the only one in Venice, at Piazzale Roma. The other companies seem to be at the airport or in Mestre on the mainland.

It would be around 3 hoursish with a possible change in Bologna.

 

Cheap and comfy trains! The faster, newer ones have wifi and free snacks in first class which never costs much more than normal when you book early enough.

There are several rental offices, and a garage, at P. Roma. The building is between the end of the bridge and P Rome. Very close. We have picked up cars here from Avis and Hertz. It is a multistory white building to your left if you were exiting the port area.
