Vacating stateroom by 8:00 am on disembarkation day

Last year on the Emerald, the time to vacate was 8 A.M. We wanted the cabin to be available for the new passengers when they boarded at 11:30 A.M. ( just as the cabin was ready for us at that time), so we were glad to vacate in order to accommodate the hard-working crew and the new passengers. ( We were sad to see the cruise end, however!)

This was also our experience on the CB in June - out of the cabin by 8:00. When we boarded (1130-ish), there were signs on the closed doors leading to the cabins stating that they would not be available until 1:00. This was the first time we'd experienced having to wait - and that's after quite a few Princess cruises.

We had this same experience on the Grand in April.
