mickrory Posted July 19, 2018 #27 Share Posted July 19, 2018 This year is exceptionally hot, we've had hardly any rain and in the North West a hose pipe ban has been introduced. May is generally the best month, we've had to cancel our last 3 family BBQs in August due to torrential rain. NSWP Posted July 20, 2018 #28 Share Posted July 20, 2018 We just did Royal Princess - British Isles - 18 June-30 June and also did car touring for a month in England. Great weather 20C to 30C. When we left England last week it was 27C in Cambridge. Calm seas and winds.
holmium Posted July 20, 2018 #29 Share Posted July 20, 2018 Hello! I'm wanting to cruise the British Isles in 2020. Any recommendations for the best time of year weather-wise? Thanks! We went in May and it was EXCELLENT!!! Jacket necessary but it’s not a hang out at the pool cruise. To much to see in port and scotch tours!
