Types of taxis available at POM?

Do they have mini van type taxis available? Are there local shuttle companies that are reliable and just waiting for passengers? We are 2 groups of 4 adults each and would like to go back to Miami International at the same time if not all together. We dont like pre paid and pre scheduled shuttles because we dont want to be rushed. We'll leave that to the cruiseline at disembarkation. As an Uber/Lyft p/t driver myself, I dont like that option either because we have too much luggage and are never sure of the vehicle type coming until booking and mostly the cost factor itself. We tried that in New Orleans and the driver had her groceries in the back...:confused:but thats another story.

 

Anyone have any positive suggestions or recommendations from recent experiences? We leave in 13 days.

Yes, there are van taxis. A few SUV taxis, but van taxis are more common.

Minivan taxis are the same fare as the standard cabs - $27+tip You may need to wait a coupe of min for van cabs to come up to the front of the line. For 8 passengers plus bags you'll need two van taxis.
