MargoK Posted July 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2018 Hi all We are finally taking our free cruise after accepting a lovely move over offer, which means we have a lovely amount of refundable OBC :D:D We decided to add a second cruise giving us a B2B of 25 nights. My question is, can the left over refundable OBC be transferred to the second leg? Thus saving us paying for our on board spend on the second leg and waiting for the refund some weeks later for the unused portion of the first leg's refundable OBC. There is no way we will spend it all, even spread over the 2 cruises.
neverbeenhere Posted July 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2018 Yes. It should be automatic.
SimonaD Posted July 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2018 On our last sailing I was told they’re totally independent and the slate has to be wiped clean. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
moki'smommy Posted July 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2018 We had not trouble with it--it rolled over automatically on Princess. Some other lines zero all accounts; not Princess.
ggprincess2004 Posted July 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 6, 2018 The answer it depends. I don't know where you are cruising, but if they change the currency being used between the two cruises, ie, from AUD to USD, it won't carry. You can check at the purser's desk and see if will be transferred. If not, you can handle it yourself by doing a buy in at the casino using your (estimated) remaining OBC near the end of the first cruise, cashing out, and then at the start of the next cruise applying as much of that cash as you wish to the second cruise, at the purser's desk. caribill Posted July 6, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 6, 2018 We had not trouble with it--it rolled over automatically on Princess. Just to be sure it will roll over, stop by the Purser's desk during the first segment and make sure they have linked your two segments so that it will transfer to the 2nd segment.
