OBC and gift card

HI.. IS THERE A WAY TO BUY A GIFT CARD AND PUT THE MONEY ON MY SIGN AND SAIL PRIOR TO THE CRUISE? I was told I need to do that at embarkation

Buy cruise cash, not a gift card. It will be applied directly to your onboard account.

You can use the gift card to purchase some Cruise Cash online and it will be on your S&S when you board.

Just be aware that cruise cash is apparently not refundable in case you don't use it all. There may be some sort of casino trick to use it then you can cash it out there on the last night. Not sure though. Leaving next week as well. Do a search on that before you go!

um, you don't get discounted cruise cash. You buy discounted gift cards.

 

 

OP: You don't have to preload it either. I've found the easiest thing to do is to just hold onto your gift cards then the last night of your cruise go to GS and pay your balance off with the gift cards. Then if you have any remaining balance you have the gift cards with them on it. No worrying about waiting on a check, no worrying about cashing out at the casino, none of that.

um, you don't get discounted cruise cash. You buy discounted gift cards.
