mom4mom Posted July 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2018 we are taking an eastbound transatlantic on MSC Divina next spring which disembarks in Genoa. We’d like to explore Genoa before taking a train later to Milan. Is there anyplace we can store our luggage so we don’t have to drag it around? euro cruiser Posted July 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2018 Piazza Principe station has a left luggage office. The details aren't offered on the English language site (here: https://www.genovapiazzaprincipe.it/en/) but they are on the original Italian version here: http://www.grandistazioni.it/cms/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=b4450b5ba376b110VgnVCM1000003f16f90aRCRD
Rare steamboats Posted July 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2018 We used the storage at the train station. It´s walkable from the port. Used to be 6 Euro per bag but that´s a couple of years ago. steamboats
mom4mom Posted July 19, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted July 19, 2018 Thanks for your responses. It is so good to know that we don't need to take our luggage sightseeing with us. Do you have any suggestions on must see sights? Thanks
euro cruiser Posted July 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2018 When we were there on a port day, our first time to Genova, we just wandered around with no specific goals in mind. The city has an excellent tourism web site, in English, with lots of ideas: http://www.visitgenoa.it/en/homepage
