messej01 Posted July 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2018 Sorry if this has been asked before but do Australians require an ESTA to visit on a cruise ship? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Forums
Kiwi_cruiser Posted July 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2018 I don't think you will need a ESTA to visit American Samoa by cruise ship. We have been to American Samoa a few times and we have never needed to do any customs clearance to enter American Samoa, not like when you enter Hawaii etc... This has been done on a UK & New Zealand Passports
Gwendy Posted July 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2018 Check out Smart Traveller on DFAT website. Full and correct info for Australian passport holders. Sent from my iPad using Forums
messej01 Posted July 20, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted July 20, 2018 The DFAT is more aimed at land travel but it did say you need an ESTA and other documents which sounded like a pain in the bum Sent from my iPad using Forums
SinbadThePorter Posted July 21, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 21, 2018 Pago Pago is not a US port of entry, so an ESTA visa is not required for Aussies. You do need a passport and an onward ticket. Which cruise passengers are assumed to have anyway.
