Has anyone had their young kids be a part of the youth program on the carnival breeze? Pros and cons?

Our 4 year old absolutely loved camp ocean on the breeze this past February. She wanted to stay there all day long but we only allowed her a few hours a day. I can't really think of any cons. If you have any more specific questions please ask.

My kids loved Camp Ocean on the Breeze. We've sailed that ship three times and the camp area is very spacious. The staff is wonderful. I always felt that they were very safe there.

Thanks so much. We are taking our three year old dd with us on this cruise. Was just wandering if this is going to be something she would like or if we are going to have to get her after a short while.

Our 4 year old would have stayed there all day and night had we let her. Every kid is different though, so you won't know for sure until the time

Our son was a pre teen when we cruised the breeze , prior to that he was the same way with wanting to live in camp. Once he aged out of the younger group, he didn’t really want to go. I am hoping he will try it again this upcoming cruise, to hang with some other teens. I say let them go the first night to orientation and then take them as much as they want to go. My son loved to go to the night owls every night and it allowed us to have freedom to go to casino or party. Sometimes we were ready to turn in before he was. Great program and they meet other kids their age.

How do they contact you if there’s an emergency?

For the youngest kids, or kids with special needs, they will give a phone to carry around with you. We got this when our son was 2. For the older kids, I guess for a real emergency they can make a ship wide announcement, if your aren't in your stateroom.

For non emergencies, kids have to wait until their parents check on them. We're told our kids when we'd come by and check on them, and that worked fine.
