We are on the Gem in Nov. We have 5 rooms and are hoping to decorate a couple of the doors because it is milestone birthdays for 3 people in our party. What is allowed and what kind of doors do they have - metal or wood..... Thanks! Oh and yes I have looked on NCL site and cannot find info.

We were on the Gem last December and quite a few people decorated their doors! We saw lots of magnets, taped up decorations, and some of those gel window clings. All brightened our walk down the hall ❤️

We decorate our door on every ship. We found some adorable door banners on etsy. They hang on a metal hook or command hook and can be customized for our cruise or special occasion. I hang them in my office after the cruise for a reminder to book another one.

Just search "ship door decoration" after you go to etsy.
