Electrical Appliances

We are going on our 3rd HAL cruise and I don't remember anything about the electrical connection. I'm assuming we don't need a convertor while on the ship. We need to take the charger for my digital camera and for our phones.

 

If you all can help me refresh my memory re the electricity, it will be very much appreciated.

You should not need an adapter/converter, but I would take extension chords.

extension cords and/or a power strip.. there is ONE electrical outlet (two receptacles) in the cabin as I remember

No converter required. U.S. plugs fit the outlets....I think on the dressing table in the suite, there may be a European two prong as well as a U.S. style.

In my cabin on the Zuiderdam last October I happened to notice another open power receptical behind the tv, up on the wall. It could easily be used for a power brick with a long cord, like a phone or pda charger, or some laptops

Power bars are better than extension cords.

I take one power strip and one extension cord just incase I have to use the blowdryer somewhere other then the bathroom, which is usually the case because of the size of the bathrooms.:eek:

I used a three plug multi outlet stuck into the two plug on the vanity table in our room and we used it for hair dryers, curlers, charging phones etc....
