Last cruise on P & O Jewel

We had already booked on Jewel for Feb on what is now one of its last cruises. We have cruised many times and have only chosen this cruise for its dates - just a quick break in a busy schedule.

Given that P & O is usually around a 3 star rating could we expect less on one of its last voyages? Thoughts?

Could be. We were on the Carnival Jubilee not long before she came to Australia to become the Pacific Sun. We noticed that she needed maintenance - worn carpet and similar signs of wear. This might happen with the Pacific Jewel.

I wouldn't expect less in terms of service/inclusions.

 

That said, certain items of condition or supplies might be out of stock/not updated or similar due to pending departure. But standard inclusions and star rating will be the same.

Agreed, unless it is the very last cruise, I wouldn't expect any difference to their usual standards.
