Flying in to Cape Liberty, NJ

Newark....because the cost of getting the ship from airport is a whole lot cheaper and easier. JFK, LGA you need to cross the boros of NYC and pay the bridge or tunnel tolls and those trips can take hours. Newark, as others have said, is close by, just a small turnpike toll to pay and door to door in about 15 minutes.

Any recommendations for which airport to fly into for a cruise departing from Cape Liberty, NJ?

 

Here's a link to the East Coast departures board, great people there and everything you need to know about Cape Liberty. Look for the thread Cape Liberty 411. Lots of hotels at the airport, almost nothing at Bayonne and continuing construction in the area. One hint, book a hotel at the airport, will show up as either as Newark or Elizabeth. Unless you absolutely have to don't book in downtown Newark for safety reasons.
