Golden Eagle catamaran question

Recommended Posts

In St Maarten, we're considering doing the Golden Eagle catamaran excursion. Can anyone tell me about getting in and out of the water? Is it via steps that go into the water, rope ladder, etc. I've been on boats that have both kinds.

Any other feedback on this excursion would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

We got in and out via steps. They also have a small inflatable dinghy that will take your beach bags to shore for you and "noodles" that you can use as floatation devices.

I enjoyed this excursion so much last year that I'm hoping my DH and I can get aboard again in a couple of weeks! icon_cool.gif

We did this excursion about 5 years ago and still say it was our favorite excursion. If I remember correctly, we got into the water by a small ladder and then just walked to the beach. It wasn't too deep at all.

You will enjoy this a lot!
