For our Dec 2018 Eurodam cruise we are almost $300 less cost than those   VE Balcony selling now  October 26 ,2018 . We also got the cabin we wanted by booking early & the OBCs  from both the TA & our share holder benefit :classic_biggrin:

It doesn't get any better than this & no hassles:classic_biggrin:

While it's irksome to know there was a price drop you can't take advantage of, I think one has to be 'philosophical' about this matter.

If I book early:

- I know I'm gambling. I don't complain if the fare goes up; and if it goes down, I can re-fare until the penalty schedule takes effect (assuming the deposit is refundable).

- if it looks as though the fare will stay high i.e. the cruise is selling well, I can cancel with no loss until the penalty schedule takes effect (assuming the deposit is refundable).

- I have a wider selection of rooms to choose from.

If I book a For New Booking Only 'special' after the penalty schedule starts, I don't say "Hey... this isn't fair to the people who booked early." :classic_wink:
