Triumph pre-dry dock update on deck 9

Does anyone know about any work being done on Deck 9 of the Triumph before the dry-dock?  Sailing on Nov. 29th in cabin 9294.  Hoping for a renovated cabin.

Same here, but am sailing on Nov. 5th in cabin 9244. So if we don't get a answer to your question I'll let you know after I get back.

I cruised October 8th thru 13th and was in a newly renovated cabin on deck 7. When I boarded they had completed all of 7 and had just closed the port side (even cabins) of deck 8. Construction on deck 7 started with the first cruise in September and took approximately 2.5 weeks to do each side. (My cabin 7365) was finished shortly before I boarded. During the time leading up to my cruise Carnival continued to deny any work was being done on the ship. If you want a resource with more cruisers providing info if you have Facebook join the group Carnival Sunrise (Triumph) as people come back they are sharing photos of the new cabins as well as where current construction is.

Thanks for the information.  I am not wanting to change rooms, I hope our cabin is completed or not started when we cruise.  Anxiously waiting to hear back from steadyone and 2Shoes2Go.

We're waiting to board Triumph now. It's a cluster. We've been here since 10:45. They just announced boarding to begin at 1:30! Blaming it all on the "construction on the ship." The lounges are standing room only. Not good.

No work being done, at this time, on deck 9 (Lido) staterooms. Currently, there are renovations in process on deck 8, port side. Deck 7 seems to be complete. No work in process on deck 6 cabins.

I spoke to a Carnival rep yesterday.  She said deck 8 and 9 cabins are supposed to be completed before Nov. 29th.  She said deck 9 would not take long because it is not all cabins.  We all should be fine on Lido deck!!!
