Cabin upgrade on norwegian pride of America do I want it?

so we have an inside cabin and they did us a "favor" and upgraded us to deck 11 with the pool but its in front of ship. not sure I want this level and do I want the front of ship? sailing in month thinking of asking to go lower?

If you had a guarantee inside (i.e., you didn't request and get a specific cabin no.), you're likely stuck with the "upgrade."

Right, it sounds like you booked a guarantee so totally up to NCL where you end up.

 

I wouldn't worry too much about 11 forward - you should have rooms above you and below you.  That route isn't typically very rocky so no real worries about seasickness.  Close to pool, buffet, Key West Bar on 12.

Sounds like OP booked a guarantee cabin. If that is true they are stuck with where they are assigned. There is a similar thread about this topic, where a person booked an obstructed OV expecting one thing and got assigned a recal OV but it was forward and had a port hole. They are stuck with it.

POA is not a surf board - the ride in Hawaiian waters should be rather sedate mild ripple 4-5 foot wavelets

Winter time cruising a bit rougher on the windward side of the islands

POA cruises at night - you are asleep and should feel nothing

Two nights out of the 7 you are not cruising at all just parked at a pier (1 night Maui - 1 night Kauai)

Only place of some concern is the tendering at Kona on the Big Island

 

Simply the cabin is a place to sleep - get out on deck and/or take a walking tour of the islands or a shore excursion
