Britannia Currency Advice

Hi all. I am travelling first time to the Carribbean on 10 November on the Britannia with my family.  I would be grateful if anyone could please advise on which currency to use on the various islands. Do USD cover all islands or are specific currencies required and if so any recommendations of how much per person per day would be welcome.

US dollars are widely accepted, just be careful with any change you get as it might be Caribbean dollars.

Agree with CCFC, US Dollars will be universally accepted.  To minimised the non-US Dollars in your change situation it is a good idea to obtain lots of small denominations.  This way you can tender the exact amount or near to it.

Also if you are going to Gaudalope(sp) and/or St Maarten (the Dutch side) you can use Euros, which is handy if you have some left from a european holiday.

And if you want anything more costly you should be able to use your credit card.

If you are stopping at Martinique you will need euros
