free messaging and internet package question

We'll be cruising Celebrity for the first time soon (Infinity). Does the ship have any free onboard messaging apps (similar to Princess)? Also, if we purchase the two device internet package, can we use multiple devices over the length of the cruise (laptops, iphones, ipads etc) so long as no more than two devices are connected to wifi simultaneously? Thanks!

No, and Yes.

No to the messaging apps, and no to two devices connection at the same time.  One device per package, so if you have one device and your wife has one device, you can both be connected at the same time, but one person cannot be connected to more than one device.  The system will prompt you, for example, if you are logged on to your iPhone and try to log on to your laptop, it will prompt you if you want to disconnect from one and connect to another.

I believe if you purchase the 2 (or more) device package that one account (login) can be simultaneously connected to multiple devices.

 

Wine-O is correct that if you each have a 1 device package, each account can only be connected to 1 device at a time, but you will have 2 accounts so 1 device on each account.

This showed up under the internet packages on Celebrity's website.  Has anyone tried it?
