8174 and 4189 on QV

Personally I would choose 4189. Despite the new suites on deck 8 being beautifully appointed, and they are, we found those particular corner cabins very claustrophobic. Too much emphasis on the wardrobe/dressing area, at the expense of the main bedroom/living area. The cabins on deck 4 are more open and therefore more spacious - in our view. And we prefer space.

The balconies in deck 4 are spacious and we have always enjoyed them. Good luck and I hope you make the right choice for you.

Depends what your priorities are. We stayed in 4189  over five years ago and unless the bathroom has been reconfigured, I wouldn't consider it. The cabin is lovely and spacious but my recollection is, the bathroom facilities were all in one room  with no door between hand basin, and the bath/shower/loo. The shower had a curtain and not a glass door.
