notafanofthecold Posted December 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 25, 2018 Hi All, We are wondering if we should book a cabana? We want to be sure to have a lounge chair on the beach where we can watch our kids 6 and 8 play in the water. Is it necessary? We’ve only ever done Disney and have always booked the cabana for the private beach but it sounds like in this beach you don’t need that. We are in a crown loft suite. Would appreciate any input. We’ve never cruise royal before. Cheers!
Clarea Posted December 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 25, 2018 Lounge chairs are free at Labadee, no need for a cabana if all you want are lounge chairs. You will also have access to a relatively uncrowded beach called Barefoot Beach, because you are in a full suite.
tyler6597 Posted December 25, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 25, 2018 Yes it's worth the money. One of the best days I've had in a while was at a Cabana a couple years ago. Go for it.

Dresscode is barefoot? 🤔
Rare Lionesss Posted December 25, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 25, 2018 We have been to barefoot beach 8 times over the last 10 years, 7 of which when it became the private suite beach. We have never purchased a cabana, but have enjoyed the loungers on the beach, under the shade trees. The reason we do not book a cabana, is we have always booked 1-2 excursions. From zip lining to water jet ski, to dragons coaster to dragons slide (yea this is a waste of money). For the time left to enjoy the beach and cabana would not be practical for us. However, I have seen them usually booked and on a rare occasion the gate attendant is trying to rent one on the day we were there. Enjoy. Just understand that the cabanas do not have a zero entrance to the water. Some you have to walk around back and down the path to get to the beach. Others have stairs that you can enter the water from. Over-all The actual beach to water entrance is not too far from these cabanas. Safe travels
