Missed Ports

Easier than falling off a log. You meet at the Purser's Desk at 9:30 A.M., and generally the entire thing takes about ten minutes, INCLUDING walking off and on the ship again. You can get off and play around in Port Canaveral if you want to. It's a lot of fun, though, to go back to the big, empty ship, and enjoy the solitude and EMPTINESS. And of course, the NYAH NYAH NYAH NYAH NAH of it all. :D

Carol, thanks for the info. I'm so excited to go! I think we will opt for the EMPTINESS of the ship for a while.

Julie, after you get back on, go up to Deck 11 and grab a cup of coffee or tea from the serving station next to the Windjammer-side Pool Bar. Then go lie on a lounger or sit at a table and watch the water. The only people up there will be crew members cleaning the furniture and the deck. If you are lucky, they'll run an Oscar, Oscar, Oscar drill. That's "man overboard". On OUR B2B, they FAILED to rescue the dummy! They threw life preservers at it, but the dummy just floated there for about an hour! It was SO funny! Poor, poor, dead dummy. :D :D :D

If one of the two cruises you are on is a big "holiday" or other special event, they may bring on a "headliner" for that occasion. Other than that, most of the entertainment is identical, with there being one more night of it on the 4-day, of course. The Royal Caribbean Singers and Dancers do the same shows, the CD tells the same jokes and wears the same outfits, , if you have the same magician or comic, he'll do the same tricks and tell the same stories.

The computer that does table assignments doesn't "know" that you are doing a B2B, so it will assign you to a new table the second half. IF you loved your waiter team, you can ASK to stay with them, and I believe that this request would be honored. We were perfectly content to play waiter roulette. Obviosly, you're going to have different tablemates, regardless.

:) :) :)
