Anyone know if it is possible to get to the front point of the ship, so you can jump on the rail and yell "I'm king of the world" like on the movie Titanic? :p

That depends on which ship you are going on...

Make sure you're not drunk off you arse when you do this and that your wife isnt sleeping off her booze in some random hallway on the ship!!!

On the Voyager class and probably on the Radiance class ships you can go all the way forward on the helipad to the bow jackstaff and be "the King of the World". I'm sure that the bridge crew gets a laugh out of it every time it's done.

Was on the Mariner and you betcha you can, at least on that ship. You couldn't on the Majesty or the Enchantment when I was on them.

I was wondering about enchantment of the seas. Sounds like I'll have to think of some other Titanic thing to do. (Other than sink!)

Can't on Vision of the Seas, so I bet you can't on the Vision class or Sovereign class ships

Yup. It's possible on all classes of ship. Just don't come moaning to us when a selfish posh cow lets you slip into the freezing Atlantic instead of pulling you (if you'll pardon the expression!) aboard her raft.

That front part of the ship (where the helipad is on voyager class) is one of my favorite spots, so I was very disappointed to find on Vision class ships (at least on Vision and Legend), that it is the crew deck and inaccessible. So I guess it depends on the class of ship.

 

I saw a great number of people do this while I was on Navigator. I, at least, waited until nobody was looking. ;)

I'm betting that most people (myself included) don't actually go quite so far as our doomed protagonists, but just kind of get up near the front and act the part. I dont' think any of us actually wants to fall off! :)
