Boat drill on Majestic question

Are the meeting stations all held in locations with ample seating or are some outside ? Do we need to actually bring life jackets also?

Have not been on the Majestic but have sailed her sisters Royal and Regal.  Princess does it’s muster drills inside in bars, theaters, etc.  there is lots of seating but not always one for each cruiser so some people end up standing.  On our last 2 cruises last year Princess had stopped asking people to bring life jackets to muster.  Do not know if cruises originating in Aus or N Z have any different requirements but doubt it.

On my cruise on Majestic that started on November 24, 2018 from Sydney we did not have to take our life jackets to the muster drill. If your muster station is in the theatre there are plenty of seats (the crew seat you row by row) but I have once had to stand when I have been in the Casino (not on Majestic).

Princess does not hold muster drill outside.

If you need/want a seat get to your muster station early, don’t wait for the alarm to sound. The muster time is announced so aim to get to your station before that to secure a seat.

Your muster station is in the same location as your cabin, so if you cabin is forward of the front elevators you will be assigned the theater
