SailorJeff66 Posted March 1, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2019 As of December 2017 no. She's probably not going to I think.
LB_NJ Posted March 1, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2019 As of January, NO. It is a small, older, ship after all.

SailorJeff66 Posted March 4, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2019 I personally loved my cruise on Empress. She's a small, intimate ship with a lot of charm. Doesn't have all the features of a new mega ship, but makes up for it with great crew and the classic cruise experience. The afternoon deck behind Boleros was a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy a quiet moment.

Have they done anything about the smoking out there? It truly is a nice spot. On my cruise last year to Cuba the area became unusable because of the amount of cigarette smoke. I'm not judging, part of it is designated a smoking area after all, but it got completely out of control and unmonitored after a day or so. Smokers took over that entire back deck, and unless you wanted to breath it, and have your clothes and hair smell, you could not go out there.
