Grand Hyatt in a room with access to the executive/concierge lounge.

Easy taxi commute to attractions, very nice pool area with lots of loungers, nice on site restaurants that are of a good quality.

With the price of drinks being high (including soft drinks) we really enjoyed and felt we got ‘value’ from the concierge lounge. We also had a free breakfast in there and tasty evening snacks with our evening cocktails overlooking city views one way and the creek the other. We were also collected from the airport in a limousine and dropped at the port in one (we cruised from Dubai).

Whatever hotel you do choose spend time calculating included/add on costs for rooms. Hotel/port/airport transfers, breakfast, drinks...Sometimes something that looks very expensive at first glance can actually be not much more expensive and you may gain a much higher level of service.

A few years since we were there now so check nothing has changed but it remains one of our best hotel experiences.

We loved Raffles on the Executive Club floor. We stayed for 4 nights and service was impeccable. Breakfast, Afternoon Tea,  Evening Canapés and Drinks were including. In fact our flight home was at 7a.m so we had to be at the airport at 4 and the Manager insisted on delivering the most fabulous breakfast to our room at 3.30. This was 3 years ago it was expensive but not outrageous for the leval of service etc.

Which ever hotel you choose do try and get an room on the Club Level it’s worth the extra.

Enjoy your cruise👍
