lsunnen Posted March 20, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2019 Hey everyone! A group of 3 of us will be in port on our cruise on thursday 4/4. We were originally looking at the COSOL tour but there were a few things that weren't of interest to us so we were thinking of just hiring a taxi for the day to take us the places we were wanting to see. We know we were wanting to do the volcano/mud bath/waterfall and a fish market, possibly some beach time as well. Can anyone recommend other things we shouldn't miss? Also, does anyone know how much a taxi for the day typically is?
Ashland Posted March 21, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2019 Reconsider your decision not to book with a reputable tour operator.

reedprincess Posted March 21, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2019 A driver for the day will run $200 plus or minus. Plus entrance fees, food and drink, etc. They're readily available at the port - uniformed, licenced, insured, a/c, etc. Similar to a tour operator. A fish market will be hit or miss - they're generally selling earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon. (after the ship has sailed).. the Castries craft and food market is an option - right across from the port. Enjoy
