That's a boardwalk balcony, correct?  You've got cabins below and above.  Down on deck 8, you're "over" Chops.  So you may get ambient noise from the people walking through Central Park,  or at Trellis Bar if they have music.  But it should be muted.

Central park.  We recently had a  Symphony central park on 11, over  the Trellis Bar.  We loved the cabin.  The cabin itself was larger than we expected.  We never heard any hallway noise.  We did hear the pool band late in the afternoon, but only if we were on the balcony.   Late one evening  there was a "lively group" at trellis bar.  Voices do carry outside.  We never heard and naturally never saw any  next door neighbors.  We did wave at those across  Central Park  and realized if we could see in their cabin, they could see in ours.   Note to make sure curtains are closed.

One evening we returned from dinner and the  classical trio was playing, so we had a lovely balcony  concert .

Does this answer  your question?

Edited to add, we often hear the pool band on OV balcony/JS cabins so we were not bothered by the later afternoon music.  In fact, it was closer and not as muffled as when we hear it from an OV balcony so we liked it better.   It was also nice to see passengers stroll through center park.   During daylight we had a reflective view of the ocean off some part of the Coastal Kitchen/suite lounge windows.  Perhaps because we sailed in March and not the dead of summer,  there was a  slight  breeze and did not find the balcony to be hot.  We would definably book a CP balcony again.
