39august Posted April 17, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2019 The search function doesn't turn up much about Dublin. We are looking at a TA that ends in Dublin and would stay a couple of nights there before flying home. Any hotel or other information about Dublin is appreciated. I do know there is HOHO there. There is much to see in Dublin. Yes, there are HOHO buses in Dublin - link to 2 of them below: https://dodublin.ie/city-sightseeing-tours/hop-on-hop-off https://www.hop-on-hop-off-bus.com/dublin-hop-on-hop-off Some recommendations (depending on your interests): Shopping is great on Grafton Street Book of Kells at Trinity College Dublin Castle St. Patrick's Cathedral Christ Church Cathedral Guinness Storehouse Factory Old Jameson Distillery tour Celtic Whiskey Shop (if you are into Irish Whiskey) pop into some pubs - the locals are very friendly and you will experience an authentic Irish experience (our favorites are the Brazen Head & Temple Bar) Tourist info here: https://www.dublinvisitorcentre.ie/ Hotels: We loved the Merrion but it is a little pricey. You can check hotels on booking dot com.

sansterre Posted April 17, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 17, 2019 We were in Dublin two days last year. Spent one day with a Tour By Locals guide in the city. The second day we drove out in the countryside - much to see, very interesting and lovely too. This year we are back for just one day on a cruise. We signed up for a 2 hour tour of the Book of Kells. But we also very much want to visit the Irish Emigration Museum which some friends saw last year. They said it was very very good.
