Disembarkation

Tags will likely be out two days before arrival - watch the stand next to guest services for it so you don't miss out on a popular time.

Also, if you choose an early time, be aware that sometimes the ship is ready early and they will put up disembarkation on the TV monitors. We chose the second time (8:30) and I went for coffee at 7:15 to discover that group 1 was welcome to get off already.  So I rushed back and got us out of the room and downstairs and as we passed the monitors again group 2 was welcome to get off - at 7:30.  Easiest disembark ever.  They started announcing as we got off the ship - maybe 7:40.

Disembarking times in NYC can vary wildly; we've gotten off as early as 715 (we were home by 9!!) and as late as 10.  It all depends on when the ship actually docks, when the cruise ship terminal's staff and TSA, & US Customs have enough staff to begin the process, etc.

Good luck!
