White Nights in Alaska

Don’t presume it will be cold.  Weather in the area is quite erratic and can often get quite warm (but also potential for rain).  They’ll figure it out.  We had a white night on a Norway cruise and it was a rainy cold trip.

Do they ever do White nights indoors?  Just off b2b. Windstar Cruises. They do a deck bbq party on every cruise. On the first cruise, it was held outside. Weather was warm. Second cruise, the bbq was in the dining room. Food was cooked outside. The food was served as a buffet in the galley. It was a good alternative to bad weather.  In Alaska, weather is often wet or cold. I would hope that there is an alternate plan for white night in case of bad weather.

Yes, they move the White Night indoors if the weather is bad, usually to the Cabaret Lounge. It's never as much fun though when it's indoors. Or if they know the weather will be bad ahead of times they might be able to reschedule White Night for another night.

I have been in Alaska in July and it was very warm until about 9:30 pm but then it got cold very quickly.
