Another drink package question

If one person in the cabin wants to get the soda only package does their partner in the cabin have to get it too?  I saw nothing on the RCCL site saying anything about this.  I know both have to purchase the ultimate drink package.

No ~ I just purchased it (well, actually the Refreshment package) and no one else in our room was required to.

Only the alcoholic beverage package requires all adults in the stateroom to purchase.

Instead of creating a new thread, I do have a question about the Refreshment Package ... I purchased it because I want the specialty coffee and the Mocktails.  Can you get bottled water?  How does the cup work?  Do you present your sail card along with your cup every time you get a soda?

You can get bottled water from any bar or restaurant with the Refreshment package.

 

If you want a soda from the Freestyle machine, you must use the special cup.  If you want soda from a bar or restaurant, you can use your SeaPass card.

I never carried the cup around, if I wanted a soda I would walk to any bar and order. What was nice was I was able to get cans vs fountain soda. I also picked up sodas in the Starbucks coffee place on the Anthem.

Also have y'all experienced ordering room service with the Refreshment package?  Will I be able to request the same bottled water, soda in cans and specialty coffee in that situation?

None of the unlimited beverage packages include room service or your stateroom mini-bar.
