nodnarb2015 Posted May 9, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2019 Apologies if it is other places, but it is possible for us parents to get a yacht room and put our teenagers (15 & 17) in another cabin such as inside? Does anyone know the rules with MCS.. Thank you in advance. Brandon
Rare Essiesmom Posted May 9, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2019 Are you meaning to get a Yacht club balcony for yourselves and an inside in the YC for the kids? Or an inside not in the Yacht Club for them? If the latter, they would not have any access to the YC. Booking an adult in each cabin and switching once on board would only work if both cabins are in the YC. Previously people have reported that MSC does not issue extra keys to facilitate the shuffle and I have not seen anyone come back and report they accomplished it. dexddd Posted May 9, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2019 Yes, it isn't clear whether you mean an inside or YIN. But EM has it right. If you want all to have YC access, book one adult and child in a YIN and one adult and child in YIN or above and all will have YC access.
Two Wheels Only Posted May 9, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2019 The answer is "no". The 2 teens cannot be booked by themselves. As posted above, if parents want Yacht Club, one adult/one child booked in each Yacht Club stateroom. People can sleep however they want (teens in interior/adults in balcony) but booking must be separate.
